Forks
Forks are the combining element between the load and fork lift truck. They are the most stressed segments of an attachment and should thus meet the highest quality standard.
For many years, the most common form of fork mounting on industrial trucks has been that specified in ISO standards. The dimensions and designs of fork carriages are defined in ISO 2328 (see fork carriage specifications).
Forks are also available with other mounting specifications and in different designs.

Folding Forks
On folding forks, the fork blade can be folded up to the fork back manually or hydraulically. Very often such forks are used in locations with a limited amount of space, in lifts or similar applications.

Hydraulic Lifting Forks
With hydraulic lifting forks, additional lifting height can be achieved. In pairs, hydraulic lifting forks operate with 100% synchronism.
In combination with a standard fork, hydraulic lifting forks are used for leveling. In this case, the hydraulic lifting fork is equipped with positive and negative lift in comparison to the standard fork. Hydraulic lifting forks are also available in combination with other attachments, such as telescopic forks and / or fork positioners. 

Manually Adjustable Fork Extensions
The manually adjustable fork extension is a combination of a fork and a fork extension. The shoe is slipped onto the fork and can be manually locked into its final position. As an option, there are several adjusting positions available.

Fork Extensions
Fork extensions are available in two versions. One is the openbase extension or open version. The fork length must be at least 60% of the length of the fork extension and the LC must be within the fork length.
The other version is the closedbase extension or closed version. The extensions are locked behind the back of the forks by means of a locking pin. This robust welding construction is used in heavy-duty applications.
Fork extensions are also available with a coating or in special designs.
