Lift drop forks can be used for a variety of reasons, however, a common application is where height restrictions exist and retrofitting of a freelift mast is cost prohibitive.
Used independantely loads with an un even underside can be lifted without altering their attitude.
When combined with fixed forks they can be used with patented drop bottom box systems.
Our fork design varies depending on the amount of lift an stroke required, but basically consists of a fork mounted on a 'T' rail and a hydraulic lift cylinder
Hydraulically lift drop forks require a lockvalve to hold the fork(s)up when not in use, no lock is generally required to hold the fork down.
The actuation of the lift drop fork can be controlled with an additional hydraulic service, if this is not available a switchable solenoid valve can be used on a service shared with another attachment function. If neither an hydraulic or electronic function is prefered then sequencing can be offered. This achieved by using end of stroke pressure rise on an existing attachments function.
