AISLE-MASTER'S "SPACE SAVER" NOW AVAILABLE IN ELECTRIC
Following the success of their LP Gas powered articulated forklift, specialist material handling equipment producer Aisle-Master, have now introduced a battery-powered version.
Since its introduction to the market, just four years ago, the LP Gas powered narrow aisle truck has revolutionised a growing number of businesses in an ever-expanding range of applications. The developers of the truck initially targeted companies with storage or warehousing facilities. However, an increasing number of manufacturing companies are also discovering the multiple benefits of the truck. The latest Electric model - 20SE(44SE) is expected to further increase the range of applications into the food and pharmaceutical sectors, which may have a policy of not using engine powered equipment.

“We have trialed the technology on a number of models over the last couple of years,” says company MD Gerry McHugh; “and trucks have also undergone rigorous testing at customers’ premises, with very positive feedback. We are way past the prototype stage and are now fitting AC as standard on all our electric models.”
Benefits all roundThe AC truck naturally shares all the space-saving and versatile qualities of its predecessor and the company’s LPG model, with some of the main benefits of AC summed up as follows:
Enhanced performance levels Increased pallet movements for greater productivity Improved acceleration and gradability Fewer wearable parts resulting in low maintenance and reduced downtime Reduced energy consumption
