Charlatte Model CBT350E A/C medium duty tractor is a self-propelled battery powered support vehicle designed with the capability of towing very heavy loads over long distances.  This allows the unit to be used not only as a tow tractor, but also as a pushback for commuter operations.  Yet the agility of the unit provides the user with the ability to operate the vehicle around aircraft and in and out of baggage rooms similar to a much smaller tractor.

The unit is capable of a top running speed of 20 mph (32.2 km/h) when empty and has a drawbar pull of 4500 lbs (2041 kg). Power for the main drive is supplied by an integrated AC powertrain system, which combines the rear axle, motor, rear brakes, and parking brake into one unit. Power steering is provided by a hydrostatic closed center with accumulator to limit pump operation and permit fail safe brakes. The operators compartment contains all the controls and indicators necessary to drive the unit including foot operated accelerator pedal and brake pedal, directional lever, keyless power switch, light switch, and horn switch as well as a LCD display which provides information on the units operation and aids in troubleshooting.
