The towbarless aircraft tractors type AST-3 can move aircraft of up 220 t MTOW (e.g. A300/B767) faster, more flexibly and cost-effectively.
The AST-3 F can be used for all operations like pushback, extended pushbacks, inter-gate towing and medium speed maintenance towing.
As a cost-effective alternative, type AST-3 L can be offered with a reduced engine performance, two-wheel drive and reduced tractive power. This is enough for moving aircraft with a total weight of up to 160 tons MTOW.
