The sideloader is a lift truck designed for handling long loads. The load is lifted by the forks reaching out sideways, which makes the lift truck very appropriate for use in narrow aisles.

A sideloader can be equipped with a ‘moving mast’. It is also possible to equip it with a pantograph or hydraulic forks in order to push the load forward even further. This is perfect, for example, for one-sided loading and unloading.

The consequences for an operator working with a sideloader could be dramatic if the lift truck tips over due to instability as a result of an underestimated load effect. It is essential that the operator is aware of the total weight when lifting and moving the load.

The FLEX-OPS can easily be installed on the sideloader and will inform the operator by an audible or visual warning when the maximum weight is reached.
