Essity Austria GmbH is part of the globally leading hygiene and healthcare company Essity AB, which until a few years ago operated as SCA. In Pernitz/Ortmann (Austria), Essity operates one of the largest hygiene paper production sites in the entire group. Its total production capacity in 2019 was 132,000 tonnes. In addition to high-performance paper machines, waste paper processing is also part of the production facilities. It ensures that the proportion of virgin wood pulp is low and that mostly recovered paper can be used. To be able to continuously supply the production with recovered paper, Essity needed a new attachment - an individualised bale clamp.

● Cylinder with reinforced support on clamp body, additional support and adapted threaded connection
